LED light therapy, explained

LED (light-emitting diode) therapy uses specific wavelengths of visible and near-infrared light. Different colours are absorbed by the skin at different depths, which is why devices often combine several wavelengths.

Red and near-infrared light are the most common in at-home skin devices. They are prized for supporting the skin's natural renewal process without heat or downtime.

Consistency matters more than intensity. A few minutes most days tends to deliver better results than an occasional long session.
